Dont worry traxxion this is a quick run the "official" league is planned for jun/july. and ill give community plenty of notice and chance to choose when races should be held, also if this works and everyone enjoys themsleves, will hopefully expand into a few different grids and maybe introduce promotion and relegation between the different grids.

Seems like you kow your way around hardware and software , maybe its old ATI drivers in the system , but i never had probs switchig from R9700 pro > 6800 > 7800.

If LFS is the Only game causing the problem, id re-download LFS >> unzip to new directory >>> test the new install.

, on side note what cpu do you have as LFS is very CPU hungry. *eidt* read post properly

sorry a 3ghz CPU should be enough to run LFS , maybe if re-installing the newer drivers doesnt work try renaming the old config file

At the start of the season Every single racer starts with F08

now the more points you get as each race goes forward
the slower car you will have. confused ... you will be

if you get 6pts - 11pts you have to use FZR
12-17pts XRR
18-23pts FXR
24-29pts F0X
30-35pts XFR
36-41pts UFR

and so on and so forth until at end of the test season .

must be your connection or maybe firewall (hardware or software) i noticed a slight hiccup today but master server has been pretty solid for a long time

Getting this implemented sooner rather then later can only be a good thing for LFS and the Devs and all racers demo or fully registered. I`m sure this also would help with the learning curve this game has.

Id DEFINATELY be racing S1 alot more if this was an option i prefer road cars.

Have to agree with MrSkill , my hotlap sets differ mostly with a low tyre pressure and lots of camber , which wont do more then 2 laps usually.

Race sets are usually a good second slower or more depend on car/track
and should last until tyre wears to nothing without overheating to badly.

I used to dabble quite alot with the FPS editing tools for most major games and have made maps for (HL Q1,2&3 RTCW and MoH) , the thing really do like about LFS is the "lack" of modding tools for vehicle creation, with LFS still in alpha and S3 still in devs head, this is somthing id rather have after the project is complete.

deggis i dont think its the admins hating them , i think its just more likely that server will get more visitors if these cars arent selected ,like theafro said usually its an all car server (which means slowerguys alwys pick the faster car = disaster ) , but just recently in last couple of weeks, seems everyone is racing the LX4 and if the track is suitable when TBO is flavour , ill add some LX4 spice.
its great combination of vehicles TBO4, if not the best , great for new racers and veterans.

Aye , making your setups is the way to go , but always handy to see how the uber fast setups are put together.

I always drive the car as much as possible on default set and learn the car, then start tweaking the car for the track.

Have to agree with Roadie here.

I spent months playing demo , for many reasons.

I wish id just bought it earlier its fantastic game , and the community is one of the best ive encountered, although looking at some of the above comments youd find that a bit hard to believe..

Anyhow welcome to LFS i just hope you dont make the same mistake i did and put off purchasing this amazing peice of software for as long as i did.
